If only these wonder walls could talk …

This commission for Megan's birthday was such a joy to work on. The Joiners is such an iconic music venue not just in Southampton but also in the music industry. It's seen the likes of Band of Skulls, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Radiohead, Oasis, and Wet Leg. I could go on! In 2013, the venue was named Britain's best small music venue by NME, so we truly are so lucky to have The Joiners on our doorstep. In order to add a personal touch, I thought it would be great to include posters of Megan's favourite bands

THE BRIEF

I was contacted by Megan's mum to create an illustration of the Joiners, which happens to be her daughter's favourite music venue. As we discussed the project, I suggested incorporating some posters of Megan's favorite bands that have performed at the venue.
