BRAND IDENTITY

The Hadrian

PERSONAL PROJECT

Much like Rome , this brand identity wasn’t built in a day

I had the pleasure of visiting Rome for my honeymoon and it left a lasting impression on me. I decided to create a brand identity brief for myself to develop a modern and sophisticated brand identity for a hypothetical established hotel that needed a refresh. The hotel was named after Emperor Hadrian, so I kept the name but updated the visuals to give it a fresh and luxurious feel. I used deep colour tones to create a sense of opulence and class. Additionally, I added an alternative logo with the silhouette of the Emperor, which was inspired by a Roman coin I own that features Emperor Hadrian. It was truly a joy to work on this project and bring my love of Italy to life through this brand identity.

THE BRIEF

Hotel Hadrian, a luxury hotel in Rome, is refreshing its brand identity to be more modern and sophisticated. The target audience is upscale travellers who want a luxurious and memorable experience. The visual identity will nod to the hotel's Roman heritage with rich tones and clean, modern designs. The brand voice will be sophisticated and elegant, with a touch of humour.
